Brynäs got off to a flying start and went up early in a 2-0 lead before Modo both caught up and passed.

Modos Lina Ljungblom, one of the best in the away team, first equalized to 2-2 with 17 seconds left of the first period, and then set the lead goal with a backhand in powerplay in the second period.

Already five minutes into the third period, Brynäs had turned the tables and taken the lead with 4-3 after two goals from the Austrian Anna Meixner.

The last goal, Lara Stalders 5-3, came in an empty net in the closing seconds and Brynäs won the shots in the match with a full 51-18.
