Tested before the meeting against the Norwegians Bodo Glimt on Thursday in the Europa League play-off match, the Swede from AC Milan tested positive for the coronavirus.

Ibrahimovic was immediately placed in solitary confinement.

According to the Lombard club, "all other players and staff have tested negative." 

In great form at the start of the season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is already Serie A's top scorer after scoring a brace on Matchday 1 against Bologna, in a 2-0 win at San Siro.

The striker will turn 39 on October 3.
