It was only one season for Christian Mattsson in Täby FC.
He now leaves the team for a week left until the premiere against Västerås Rönnby.
- I would have preferred to continue as head coach in Täby, but since I feel that we have ended up in a situation where I do not get a response in the player development that I want to apply, I feel that the best thing for both me and Täby is that we go our separate ways, he says to the club's website.
Now Maimon Abdallah, who is the coach of the men's team, will take over temporarily.
- It is incredibly sad that Christian leaves Täby as I have been looking forward to seeing what he has been able to achieve this season.
At the same time, I have great respect for the decision he made, says sports director Robin Andersson.
Täby finished sixth in SSL last year before the corona pandemic put an end to the playoffs.
In 2019, the club won the Swedish Championship gold.
