Wolverhampton contracting with the Liverpool player

England's Wolverhampton football team completed its contract with Dutchman Ki-Jana Hoover from Liverpool on Saturday, in a deal that media reports said amounted to nearly 13 million pounds (16.8 million dollars).

Hoover, 18, who can play as a center back and full back, has signed a five-year contract.

Wolverhampton coach Nuno Espirito said: "He is a player that I think has real potential, and has talent. It is up to us to make him do his best."

Hoover said he was very happy to be playing.

"I think Wolverhampton fans can expect the Flying Dutchman to return to the right," he said.

He added, "I like attacking, but I do my defensive duty. Right back, central defender, whatever position you want me, I will play in it, I will play cross balls, I will score, I will attack, but I will do my defensive duty, this is what they can expect."

It was also reported that Liverpool were in the process of contracting Wolverhampton's Diogo Jota, but the two clubs did not confirm the deal.
