According to the club's press service, Bale was rented from Real Madrid before the end of the 2020/21 season.
The 31-year-old Welshman played for Tottenham from 2007 to 2013, after which he moved to Real Madrid, for which he played in 251 matches, having recorded 105 goals and 68 assists.
It is also reported that another Real Madrid player, Sergio Regilon, has moved to Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Spaniard has three assists in 22 appearances for the Madrid main squad.
