Merijn Zeeman, one of the directors of the Jumbo Visma team, that of Tour leader Primoz Roglic, has been excluded from the race by a decision of the commissioners' jury at the end of the seventeenth stage that concluded in La Roche-sur-Foron.
Zeeman, in the Jumbo since 2012, will have to pay a fine of 2,000 Swiss francs, around 1,900 euros for a lack of "intimidation, insults and improper conduct" towards a member of the International Cycling Union (UCI)
The acts that have led to Zeeman's exclusion occurred during the bicycle control carried out at the end of the stage.
