  WTA wrote in the announcement that due to the recent increase in the infection rate of the new crown pneumonia in Moscow, the ATP250 tournament originally scheduled to be held from October 19 to 25 and the WTA top tournament from October 26 to November 1 have been cancelled.

  According to the regulations of the Moscow city government, this event will not be allowed in 2020.

  WTA stated that it will continue to closely monitor the development of the epidemic and cooperate with medical experts to ensure the health and safety of the WTA family is always the most important thing.
