Fredrik Lindgren has an impressive result so far in the World Cup series.

In four competitions he has been in as many finals.

After last weekend's first victory, Lindgren leads the World Cup table, seven points ahead of the reigning world champion, the Pole Bartosz Zmarzlik.

Lindgren has so far radiated a great deal of calm, both in his performance and preparations.

A little under the motto "one heat at a time".

"Is only halfway"

He will continue with this concept ahead of the weekend in Prague, where the first of two competitions will be run on Friday night.

- It is important to try to stick to the shape I am in now.

This weekend there is a new competition with new heats and that is what is in focus.

It is a long-term job to stay at the top of the world.

So far, I have managed to maintain an incredible smoothness.

But we are only halfway there, and by that I mean there is a long way to go.

We hope for two good days in Prague, where I will try to keep the position I hold, says Fredrik Lindgren.

Marketa Stadium in Prague is the longest track in this year's World Cup series with its 353 meters.

Fredrik Lindgren won in Prague 2018, when he beat the Pole Patryk Dudek on the finish line in the final heat.

In 2019, Lindgren finished sixth in Prague after reaching the semifinals, when the Pole Janusz Kolodziej won the competition.

In addition to Lindgren, Swedish colleague Antonio Lindbäck is also present in Prague.

Lindbäck is in 17th place in the championship before Prague.
