Kif Örebro is the next team to suffer a serious knee injury in the damallsvenskan.

Midfielder Cajsa Åkerberg pulled off his back cruciate ligament in connection with Sunday's meeting with Rosengård.

- Of course very boring for Cajsa.

It is maximum bad luck, says Örebro's coach Stefan Ärnsved to Aftonbladet.

No surgery

Knee injuries have become almost everyday for most damallsvenska teams.

This is the 14th knee injury for the season, and the second for Örebro.

There will be no surgery.

She will wear an orthosis around her knee for three months so that it can stabilize and heal on its own.
