Chinanews.com, September 18th. In the early morning of the 18th, Barcelona officially issued an announcement. The club confirmed that the organizers have formally submitted the signatures of members supporting the impeachment team chairman Bartomeu, and the audit work has begun.
It is reported that the signature of the member has been submitted to the club.
After preliminary statistics, the total number of signatures is 20,687.
It will enter the review process, which will refer to Article 55 of the Club’s Constitution.
Article 55-1 of the Barcelona club’s constitution shows that the object of the impeachment vote is the current board member.
Article 55-2 of the bylaws shows that from the announcement of the no-confidence vote to the end, the number of people who submit signatures needs to exceed 15% of the number of people entitled to vote. The specific number is 16,520.
Articles 55-3 and 4 of the articles of association show that the counting of votes for impeachment applications lasts for 14 days from the beginning to the end.
Within 10 days from now, two board members, two promoters of impeachment, and a representative of the Catalan Football Association will form a review team.
Once the review team has completed the construction, it will review whether there are enough members to submit signatures within the next ten days and have the right to verify the authenticity of the documents.
If the above conditions are met, then the impeachment will be considered effective.
The board of directors will have to hold a vote for the club, which must be more than 10 days and less than 20 days.
If the requirements are not met, the review team has the right to declare the application invalid.
Since then, according to Spanish media Catalan Radio, Barcelona’s chairman Bartomeu considered resigning for the first time after Barcelona issued a deliberative impeachment statement.
He will not leave today, but all possibilities currently exist.
