The Sharjah team drew great Emirati joy, by beating Al-Duhail, Qatar 4-2, to score its first victory in the championship, during the strong and exciting confrontation that brought the two teams together, yesterday, in Doha, in the fourth round of Group C matches of the AFC Champions League Group League.

Sharjah raised its score to four points, revitalizing its hopes of qualifying for the second round, and entering the competition circle, sending a strong warning to the group's teams, as there were two matches left for him against Saudi cooperation, and Iranian Perouzi on the 21st and 24th of this month, while Al-Duhail froze at six points.

The match saw the referee announce the red card for Al Duhail player Mahdi Bin Attia (58), for his assault on Sharjah player, Brazilian Igor Kornado.

Sharjah, who seemed the best and the best to reach the goal and control the course of the game, achieved a great surprise, as he initiated the attack during the first minutes with more than one attempt, in search of an early goal in the match, especially Igor Kornado's shot, which passed outside the Al Duhail goal.

And Sharjah played in the same previous squad, in which he played the last match, with the exception of a slight modification, represented by the participation of Khalid Bawazir and Saif Rashid, in the starting line-up, the place of Uzbek Shukorff and Mohammed Abdel Basset.

Al-Duhail scored the first goal through his player Abdullah Abdul Salam (12), taking advantage of a defensive error from players Majed Sorour and Salem Sultan, to shoot goalkeeper Adel Al Hosani, whose attempts to keep the ball away from his goal failed.

Although he was late with a goal without a response, Sharjah did not delay long, after he organized his ranks well, and that resulted in Khaled Bawazir (18) scoring the equalizer with a powerful shot directly in the goalkeeper's goal, Khalifa Abu Bakr.

Majed Sorour succeeded in the second half in putting Sharjah ahead, scoring the second goal (62) with a strong shot in the goal, taking advantage of a ball shot at the beginning by Igor, before Al-Moez Ali scored the equalizer for Al-Duhail (70).

Igor returned and put Sharjah, once again, in the lead by scoring the third goal (74) from a penalty kick, calculated in favor of Sharjah, and Brazilian Caio added the fourth goal (92).
