The president of the Egyptian club Zamalek, Mortada Mansour, revealed four candidate names to succeed the French coach Patrice Carteron, who resigned from his post by paying the penalty clause ($ 250,000) to transfer to the training of the Saudi cooperation team.
Mortada Mansour said on Zamalek TV: "Nominations are limited to four names: the Swiss Christian Gross, Argentine Gabriel Calderon, Portugal's Jesualdo Ferreira and Jaime Pacheco.

For his part, member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, Ahmed Mortada Mansour (son of the president of the club), responded to Carteron's accusations of management, and told the Egyptian "On Sport" radio: "The coach ran away and everyone knows this, for Carteron to remain silent and not talk about anything after what he did with us."
