Surprise .. the European Super in the presence of the audience, the Germans are angry

The European Football Association (UEFA) confirmed after its meeting today that the European Super Cup match will be held next week in the presence of fans, although the Infectious Diseases Control Authority in Germany has classified the capital of Hungary, Budapest, which is hosting the match, as a dangerous area in relation to the emerging Corona virus crisis.

Next Thursday's match is scheduled to be the first on the agenda of the UEFA tournaments, which has witnessed the presence of the masses since the beginning of the Corona pandemic crisis.

Bayern Munich, the European Champions League champion, will meet Sevilla, the European champions, in the Super Cup, where each team was allowed to attend three thousand fans who will be distributed over two-thirds of the stadium, which has a capacity of 67 thousand fans.

The German Robert Koch Institute, a federal body specialized in controlling infectious diseases, issued a warning against traveling to Hungary in light of the high numbers of coronavirus infections.

"UEFA is in contact with Bayern Munich to discuss the implications of the decision of the German authorities regarding the travel of the masses," said UEFA in its statement.

German media confirmed local officials' anger at the European Union decision.

It is not clear how much this matter will affect Bayern fans' travel to Budapest, after the Bavarian club announced earlier that it would provide free tests to detect the new Corona virus for its fans who had tickets for the European Super Cup match.

The fan is required to hold the match ticket and undergo a Corona virus test only 48 hours before the date of travel, to allow him to travel to Hungary to watch the match.
