The Emirates Automobile and Motorcycle Organization has said that it will act on the recommendations it prepared through a study that shows that the high costs of entering this field and the loss of effective care are among the main obstacles to professionalism and pursuing a career in motorsport.

In a statement, the organization headed by the Emirati star Mohammed Bin Sulayem, Vice President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), indicated that this study came through a questionnaire in which 218 karting enthusiasts drivers from different parts of the Emirates participated, including people over the age of 30.

A third of drivers confirmed that racing on the track in cars was their most important pleasure, followed by motorcycle races (20%), karting (14%), and rallies (8%).

"It is very important that all parties involved in motorsports in the country work together to accelerate efforts to discover, nurture and develop the skills of talented young drivers," said Bin Sulayem, several times former Middle East rally champion.
