Jamina Roberts returned to Swedish handball this year.

The reason was that she and her partner, Sävehof's sports director Emil Berggren, were expecting children.

In August, the couple had a daughter, Lou.

Just weeks after the new addition to the Berggren / Roberts family, Sävehof receives a welcome one in the form of Jamina Roberts.

The 30-year-old nine-meter player is ready for play already in the premiere against Heid, on the day six weeks after the daughter was born.

- We'll see how it works.

Physically, I'm done on the inside.

Then I have a bit left to top form, but it will come the more I train and play.

"I do not have time for that"

A follow-up check with the midwife this week showed that Roberts had healed and the recommendation was that the choice to play is individual.

- I did not believe myself that I would be back.

If I have to wait for top form, I have to wait a year and it has no time.

Roberts himself does not think she hurried back to the field.

- I have done what feels good and if I had not done it, I would have had to suffer for it myself.

No one cares more about me than I do.

I do it not to be tough or cool, but because it feels good.

I see no reason to wait.

Did you yourself expect to be back so quickly?

- No, me and my friends joked that I would be back for the series premiere, but it was really a joke.
