Messi with Koeman -

A double from Lionel Messi largely contributed to an easy victory for FC Barcelona 3 to 1 over Girona (D2) in a friendly match, enough to dispel the doubts born of his desire to leave this summer.

The Blaugrana captain has been very active during the 60 minutes he spent on the pitch at Stade Johan Cruyff, in the Catalan club's training center.

He first participated in the opening scoring by Philippe Coutinho (21st), in the heart of a nice triangle combination with Antoine Griezmann and Trincao, concluded with the Brazilian's goal.

Messi doubled the stake for Barça just before the break (45th), with a nice shot from the right in the top corner, then Samuel Saiz restarted the match as soon as the restart (46th), but not for long.

A double

Messi, again, immediately scored his second goal of the evening (50th), from the left, and therefore closed the mark, before leaving the field.

Barca then dominated the rest of the game and their new Dutch coach Ronald Koeman was able to continue to calmly prepare his team for the resumption of La Liga on September 26 or 27 against Villarreal.

This is the second victory for Barcelona in a friendly match after that of Saturday against the modest Nástic de Tarragona (D3), by the same score.

Like Saturday, Koeman did without the services of Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez, leading the Spanish press to believe that he no longer relies on Leo Messi's great friend at all.

After mentioning a possible departure for Juventus, the Spanish media are in the process of dismissing this track to mention other destinations such as Atlético de Madrid or Paris SG.

As for Arturo Vidal, he is given as an almost certain start for Inter Milan, a thesis accredited by recent remarks by Barça's technical secretary, Ramón Planes, on Tuesday during the presentation of Miralem Pjanic, for whom the Vidal file " has made good progress ”.
