British journalists have reported new details of Conor McGregor's harassment of a woman while on vacation in Corsica.

The Sun wrote that the incident took place on September 6 in one of the elite establishments of the Calvi commune.

Allegedly, the athlete, who was in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication, showed one of the women, who was resting in the same bar, his penis.

The girl herself was heading to the toilet at that moment.

According to a source from The Sun, the incident "deeply shocked" the woman who did not expect anything like this from the fighter.

It is also noted that the Irishman at the time of the offense was surrounded by his bodyguards.

At the same time, 32-year-old McGregor came to Corsica with his family.

Together with his wife and children, he has been traveling on a yacht in the Mediterranean Sea for over a month.

He visited Corsica to take part in a water bike race from Calvi to Monaco.

The event was organized by the Princess Charlene Foundation of Monaco.

However, in connection with the incident, the Irishman had to look for a replacement.

The arrest of the former holder of the UFC championship belts in two weight categories became known on September 12.

At the same time, the statement of the prosecutor's office says that he was detained for "indecent behavior".

"After a statement was filed on September 10, exposing acts that can be described as an attempt of sexual violence and demonstration of a sexual nature, a police investigation was carried out against Mr. Conon Anthony McGregor," - quotes the text of the statement Mmafighting.

McGregor himself denied the charges.

Its representatives rushed to defend the Irishman.

“McGregor strongly denies any misconduct allegations.

He testified and was released, ”the statement, which was sent to TMZ, reads.

And Conor's manager Oddi Attar said that the fighter "will not be a target for those who want to become a headline hero or make money."

Even the president of the UFC, Dana White, spoke about what happened, recalling that the Irishman had "been completely crazy" before.

“When you live this way, such crazy nonsense happens.

You try to have fun, act normal and be a normal person, and it's sometimes difficult.

I am in no way or in any way protecting Conor.

I don't know enough about what happened to say anything.

But I know for sure that I had a rest with him before, and it was a complete madness, ”said White.

McGregor himself has not yet commented on the incident, however, on September 11, on his Twitter account, he complained about the too early visit of representatives of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) to his yacht.

One way or another, White's words about "complete madness" in relation to McGregor are not groundless, because the Irishman has gotten into several major scandals in recent years.

Not only that, this is not the first time an athlete has run the risk of being tried.

For example, in April 2019, Conor punched an elderly man in the face in a bar in Dublin.

It was reported that the reason for the conflict was the refusal of a visitor to drink McGregor's whiskey.

Allegedly, the victim pushed the glass of alcohol away from himself and uttered several offensive words about the athlete.

Unable to restrain himself, McGregor struck the man one blow, after which he left the institution.

As a result, McGregor received a relatively light sentence.

He was fined $ 1,000 and made a public apology on ESPN.

And just a month before, Conor in Miami took the phone from a man and smashed it on the ground.

The fighter's anger was caused by the annoying behavior of a fan who tried to photograph him near the Fontainebleau hotel.

The victim wrote a statement to the police, valuing his smartphone at a thousand dollars.

McGregor was summoned for questioning by the police and released on bail of $ 5,000.

The Irishman has never been distinguished by exemplary behavior in mixed martial arts.

The most famous scandal within the UFC happened in 2018, when McGregor attacked a bus with the team of Khabib Nurmagomedov.

As a result, two fighters, Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, needed medical attention.

Conor was arrested, he was forced to pay bail of $ 50 thousand. Later, the court sentenced the athlete to five days of community service.

He was also ordered to take courses in anger management.
