Tour de France: The second week in pictures -

20 Minutes

After a first week of competition marked by numerous crashes and unusual images, we come back to the second week of the Tour de France.

The Pyrenees, the West of France and an arrival in Auvergne are on the program.

Who says Pyrenees says mountain!

And it is the Frenchman Nans Peters (AG2R La Mondiale) who flies to victory alone at Loudenvielle on September 5th.

The bad news of the day: Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) arrives almost 20 minutes behind the favorites ... Game over for the final victory!

A Slovenian, an Irishman, an Australian, a Swiss, a Colombian ...

The next day, the Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) put a foot on the first step of the podium by taking the yellow leader's jersey in Laruns.

After a day of rest, several stages for the spinters are on the program before returning to the Massif Central.

In this game, the Irishman Sam Bennett (Deceuninck-Quick Step) and the Australian Caleb Ewan (Lotto-Soudal) are the strongest.

On September 10, after a tribute paid to Raymond Poulidor who died on November 13, 2019, while passing through his village, the Swiss Marc Hirschi (Sunweb) won the stage arriving in Sarran.

We end the week with the Colombian heart of Daniel Felipe Martinez (EF), victorious at Puy Mary during the 13th stage, this Friday 11th.
