Barely his retirement from the professional world announced on social networks Tuesday evening, Florent Piétrus, 39, embarked on a new adventure.
The fourth most capped player in the history of the Blues (230 selections) has signed up with Metz.
The strong winger will thus discover the Nationale 2, the fourth French level, where he will try to help the ambitious "Gunners" to reach the N1.
Until now, he had only known the elite, with remarkable passages in France (Pau, Nancy, Gravelines, Levallois, Strasbourg, Orléans) or in Spain (Estudiantes Madrid, Vitoria, Valence, Malaga).
