According to the joint information from our colleagues from
L'Equipe
and RMC Sport, Vincent Labrune was elected by 15 votes against 10 for Michel Denisot and 47% by a relative majority.
If it was very rare in the media for several years, Vincent Labrune has nonetheless remained very close to the world of football since he was already a member of the board of directors of the LFP as an independent.
It is now up to him to bring together and pacify French football which has never seemed so disunited as since the health crisis linked to Covid-19.
