It was in May last year that field competition rider Sara Algotsson Ostholt's horse Chacco's Crack died when her horse transport started burning on the way home from a competition in Polish Sopot.

Later, the other horse, Arpertina, also died in the suites of the same accident.

This weekend she went back to Sopot together with the new horse Chicuelo, with hopes of meeting the qualifying limit for the Olympics and European Championships next year.

The crew finished fifth in the CCI4-L class with a score of 41,100 which gives peace of mind.

When SVT Sport reaches her, she is sitting on horseback at home in Germany, where she has just taken over a horse farm.

- It was really an optimal competition, it was super fun!

In the terrain he was absolutely fantastic.

He was fast and responsive and brave.

It felt super great, she says and continues:

- I have changed saddle, bridle and bit and a little of everything possible to make him jump as relaxed as possible.

He has been a little too strong for me before but now he felt completely optimal.

Now we were a real team together.

"The worst sports car in the terrain"

Chicuelo is currently nine years old and has ridden together with Algotsson Ostholt last year.

Can you describe his personality?

- At first glance, he looks like a big pony or teddy bear but can then be replaced as the worst sports car in the terrain.

I have probably never ridden a horse that is so fast, he is a fantastic individual.
