It is a star-studded gala that is broadcast on SVT2 at 16.30 on Sunday.

Armand Duplantis meets, among others, Sam Kendricks and Piotr Lisek, Daniel Ståhl aims for a new 70-meter throw and the German javelin star Johannes Vetter challenges Jan Zelezny's world record.

Today came the news that that starting field is now spiked with the stern star Karsten Warholm.

At the Diamond League gala in Stockholm earlier this year, he was nine hundredths of Kevin Young's world record from the 1992 Olympics. That world record is 46.78 seconds.

Just like "Mondo" Duplantis, Warholm won European Championship gold in Berlin 2018.

- I have great memories from the blue courts at the Olympic Stadium.

The supporters are fantastic.

For me, it is always about doing my best, keeping myself relaxed and not thinking too much about goals and expectations, Warholm says to the organizer.

There will actually be supporters in the stands at the Olympic Stadium.

About 3,500 tickets will be sold for the gala and there will be strict hygiene rules at the arena.
