The next Winter Olympics will be decided in 2022 in the Chinese capital Beijing.

Now a coalition of several human rights groups has written a letter demanding that the games be moved to another country, partly due to the country's oppression in Tibet, and their oppression of ethnic minorities ahead of their recent Olympics, in Beijing. 2008.

"The IOC must rectify the mistake made when they gave Beijing the hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympics," they wrote in the letter, which IOC chairman Thomas Bach received ahead of the executive committee meeting in Switzerland on Wednesday, reports the news agency AP.

China has been criticized several times before for its lack of human rights, and demands have been raised for a boycott of the 2022 Games. However, this has not gone down well with Thomas Bach, who as recently as two months ago said that boycotts do not difference.
