Ronaldo wants to break the number of Iranian Daei

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo has become the second player to enter the club of 100 in the list of best international goal scorers, and intends to break the record held by Iranian Ali Daei.

The best player in the world scored five wonderful double times on Tuesday during the defending champions' victory over Sweden (2-0), in the second round of the first-level competitions in the European Football League.

Ronaldo raised his goal-scoring goal to 101 goals in 165 matches, to enter the closed club and stand eight goals from the equation of Daei (109).

Ronaldo said, "I am very happy with this victory, which allowed us to continue on this path, and of course my scoring goals 100 and 101 makes me very happy."

"I managed to achieve this achievement by reaching 100 goals and now I will strive for the record. I go step by step, I am not obsessed because I believe that records come naturally."

In comparison with the world scorers who preceded him, Hungarian Ferenc Puskas scored 84 goals, Brazilian Pele 77, Argentine Lionel Messi 70, Brazilian Ronaldo 62 and Argentine Diego Maradona 34.

Ronaldo will be able to increase his yield when Portugal meets Spain, France, Sweden, Andorra and then France again and Croatia before contesting the European Cup next summer.
