The Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has

prohibited the holding of matches in the First and Second Division on Fridays and Mondays

, modifying the schedules of the first day of the Championship to 48 hours after its start.

The Competition resolution has modified the

Granada-Athletic

matches

, which will be played on Saturday 12 at 18:30;

the

Alavés-Betis

(Sunday 13, at 14 hours);

the

Leganés-Las Palmas

(Saturday 12, at 18:15);

and the

Mirandés-Alcorcón

(Sunday the 13th at 6:15 pm).

The judge found that "the substance of the matter is again, as in the previous season, if, once the official calendar has been approved, LaLiga can unilaterally modify the approved calendar in accordance with the applicable regulations in order to alter the days of dispute of the parties

moving some of them, in this case, to Monday and Friday

".

In this sense, it refers to section 1 of article 214 of the General Regulations of the RFEF.

"By virtue of this article, the matches will take place on the days fixed in the official calendar -which, as indicated in the first factual antecedent of this resolution- has been approved- or in which, without the day of in question is altered, authorized by virtue of legal, statutory or statutory agreements or pacts permissible ", adds the judge.

Furthermore, the resolution recalls that the calendar has already been approved by the CSD and now LaLiga "intends that certain matches be played on Friday and Monday, this being a possibility that the Coordination Agreements signed in 2010 and 2014 considered subject to the authorization of the RFEF and to which

the Convention currently in force does not refer

", indicates the judge.

"There is no evidence in this case that said authorization, the result of a desirable agreement, has been given, so it is not appropriate to hold meetings outside the legally authorized day", sentence in its eight-page resolution, where it modifies the schedule of the first and second days, the

only ones that have been programmed to date

.

LaLiga, for its part, has also issued a statement announcing its "firm intention to request, in addition to others, provisional measures from the CSD for matchday 2".

"Even so, for matchday 1 and

in order to avoid irreparable sports damage to the clubs affected

by this nonsense of the RFEF, LaLiga confirmed these new schedules.

The matches that would be affected on matchday 2 are the following:

Getafe-Osasuna

and

Real Betis-Real Valladolid

in the Santander League and

Castellón-Málaga

and

Cartagena-Sporting

, in the SmartBank League.
