PSG less cut than expected against OM on Sunday?

The Marseillais supporters were happy to imagine Jesé peaking on Sunday evening during the OM-PSG Classic, they may have Neymar ... Indeed, while the Parisian players are falling like flies because of the Covid-19 and Thomas Tuchel thought to be cut off from his large army (Neymar, Di Maria, Paredes, Marquinhos, Icardi, Navas, Mbappé), the German coach could finally count on certain elements.

According to RMC, which takes its information from a "source close to the Professional Football League", Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes and Neymar should be traveling to the Velodrome on Sunday since they have reported their symptoms to PSG and the League before August 30.

However, the protocol set up by the League takes into account the date of declarations of the first symptoms and not that of the notification of PCR tests.

Stars running out of rhythm

For the LFP, a player who tested positive for Covid-19 must be isolated for eight days from the day after the declaration of symptoms to the authorities.

To which are added seven days of individual training before returning to the group.

From there, the trio of players mentioned above could return to the workforce or a day or two before the trip to Marseille.

Still according to RMC, a fourth player (Icardi, Navas or Marquinhos) could also return to the group by then.

This is only half-good news for PSG since if these players made their return, they would necessarily run out of pace since they had not participated in any collective training.

Finally, the Marseillais will perhaps see Jesé lined up from the start, to their greatest happiness no doubt.
