It was on August 27 that Johaug told that she was overtrained after too much activity in July with, among other things, long mountain hikes.

She won the tough roller ski race "Lysebotn opp" on August 6, but felt that her body was heavy and that it did not respond as normal.

At the end of August, it was with some concern that Johaug said that she did not know when she would be able to train normally again.

The answer came yesterday.

- There are fantastic conditions here.

We have a loop of almost five kilometers and it is rock hard in the track.

It is brilliant, says Johaug to NRK about the pass in the fog on Sognefjellet.

"It's much better now"

Overtraining is not something you get rid of in the blink of an eye, but it has turned around for Johaug.

- It's much better now.

I had to take it easy for a while and got a lot of treatment from the masseurs at Olympiatoppen (Norwegian SOK), says Johaug who rides at a leisurely pace, mostly to get the feeling of skiing again.

It was above all the legs that were beaten by the long mountain hikes.

- It is very nice to have a few ski days after a long bare ground period.

For Therese, it is nice after a slightly heavier period where the legs have not worked one hundred percent, says coach Pål Gunnar Mikkelsplass.

In Sognefjellet, Johaug has, among other things, trained with the super talent Helene Fossesholm, who is believed to take the next step next season.
