Halfway into the elite series, 37 of the 65 drivers who started were actually Swedes.

Of the 37 drivers, twelve were born in the 2000s.

- It's fun to get the chance, but it's quite nervous every competition, says Dackarna's 16-year-old Theo Johansson.

- To get into the team and into this hard tough pace - that is what is needed to succeed and get somewhere, says Rospiggarna's Daniel Henderson.

Masarna's team leader Stefan Bäckström is positive about the development that the corona pandemic has forced.

- I think it's exciting and on time.

I have criticized both myself and the other team leaders for not developing the sport as we should have done.

This is a fantastic way for Swedish speedway to get some new riders, he says.
