It was a Norwegian victory away against Northern Ireland (5-1) in the Nations League after a real goal explosion.

After Norway's loss at home to Austria, it was a somewhat pressured national team.

But at the sideline, Norway's national team captain Lars Lagerbäck had to cheer for Norwegian hits twice in the first seven minutes.

Then it was 2-1.

Mohamed Elyounoussi started the shooter with a volley shot already in the second minute.

Northern Ireland's equalizer came four minutes later, but just over 60 seconds after the 1-1 goal, 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund professional Erling Braut Håland scored the Norwegian lead goal.

With message.

Outside the penalty area, he pulled with a rock-hard shot to 2-1.

A victory and a loss

It did not end there.

The match clock stood at 19 minutes when Alexander Sörloth pushed in the third, and at the beginning of the second half he closed the match with his 4-1 goal, played by Håland.

And Håland also scored his second goal of the evening with a fast and hard wide side in the far end, which was unreachable for the goalkeeper.

The match ended 5-1 to Norway, which has thus started the Nations League with a victory and a loss.
