• New Rules. 13 Players Minimum

  • Fuenlabrada case.'Whatsapp ', leaks, costume betrayals and a controversial judge

The Federation has announced regulatory adjustments related to the pandemic.

The aim is to avoid the chaos that the Fuenlabrada case caused at the end of last season.

The objective is to speed up the tournament against possible infections in the changing rooms.

In addition to forcing the clubs to choose a

substitute stadium

within their Autonomous Community -in case theirs is disabled-, all coaches will have to have

at least seven players from the first team (five in Second) and of 13 total

, adding to those of the subsidiary, as the newspaper EL MUNDO announced last week.

If not, that team will be awarded the game for lost (3-0).

Such a sanction could fall to the club even during the development of the match, if at some point in the same it is left with less than seven players from the first team.

Each club may only request the postponement of one match throughout the season, and they will be prohibited from matchday 30 in First and 34 in Second.

In this way, the club that had a regrowth at that point in the competition and could not gather the minimum number of professionals required, would lose the game.

In this way, the intention is not to saturate the calendar in the decisive section or to repeat situations such as the end of the last Second League, with Deportivo-Fuenlabrada having to play days later due to infections in the Madrid club, instead at the same time as the rest of the parties.

"Once the limit of meetings that can be suspended or when they occur in the last days indicated, will be considered the winner (3-0) to the team that is in a position to play the game, and if it is the two teams that are in Not willing to play the match due to COVID-19, the match will be considered lost to both teams, "qualifies the official statement issued by the Federation.

Changes are also established for the qualifying rounds for promotion to First.

If due to the covid, they could not be finalized before June 30, the

playoff

will take place with one of the following two formats:

-

Final Four in a single venue

.

The matches of the first round and the second (final) will be played as a single match.

In total, three matches would be played in five days.

-

Playoffs in different neutral venues

proposed by LaLiga and communicated to the RFEF, both for the first and for the final tie.

Both would be a single party.
