The young FC Barcelona international striker Ansu Fati became on Sunday, at 17 years and 311 days, the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Spanish national team, scoring the 3-0 goal against Ukraine for the 2nd Nations League day.

Decisive twice for his first tenure

The young nugget Ansu Fati broke the precocity record of Errazquin, who had scored a hat-trick for his first match with La Roja against Switzerland in Bern at 18 years and 344 days ... on June 1, 1925, that is almost a century!

Fati scored the 3-0 goal with a curled right strike from outside the area, after causing the 1-0 penalty (converted by Sergio Ramos, 3rd) and attempting an acrobatic kickback blocked by a player Ukrainian (26th).

Already on Thursday, Fati made Spanish national league history as the second youngest player to come on the scene in a Spanish national team game since Angel Zubieta, who came on at 17 and 284 days April 26, 1936 against Czechoslovakia (Spanish defeat 1-0).

Born in Guinea-Bissau and arrived on Spanish soil at the age of seven, Ansu Fati obtained Spanish nationality in September 2019, then played three matches with the Spanish Under-21 team.

Already a record holder of precocity with Barcelona

Ansu Fati, who has compiled 8 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions this season at Barca, was then called up for the first time with the Spain A side on August 20.

He played his first match with La Roja on Thursday in Germany, for the first day of the 2020-2021 Nations League.

The striker already holds several precocity records: on August 31, 2019, he had already become Barça's youngest scorer in La Liga, at 16, 10 months and 4 days.

Then on December 10, the youngest scorer in the history of the Champions League against Inter Milan (2-1).
