It was the guests from Skåne who started the goal shooting after just under ten minutes when Norwegian Therese Åsland had a dream hit on the ball that flew straight up in Guro Pettersen's right cross.

Dream goal by Kristianstad's Therese Åsland

After just over half an hour, it was time for the next racketeering smoker when Tilda Persson scored 2-1 in the same corner, but a little closer to the ground.

In between, Madelen Janogy had equalized for Piteå on a pass from Josefin Johansson.

It was the national team star's premiere goal for Piteå in his first match from the start after the comeback.

Janogy made a very lively first half and was very close to giving Piteiå the lead after a fine contribution from Fernanda Da Silva.

But then came Kristianstads 2-1.

Decided on overtime

In the second half, Kristianstad controlled the game and created some second chances.

But after an hour, Piteå got a penalty that Julia Karlernäs placed behind Brett Maron.

Then the match leveled off and wavered back and forth.

Both teams chased desperately for a 3-2 goal.

The closest was Kristianstad's Therese Åsland who shot the ball straight into the stomach of Guro Pettersen from close range.

But when the match seemed to go towards a draw, Evelina Summanen came up and got a perfect nod in overtime.
