Another sporting event victim of the health crisis….

In a press release, the organization of the Marseille-Cassis race announces the cancellation of the 2020 edition, which was to take place on October 25.

This decision was taken by the organizers “taking into account the health context and current restrictions” linked to the coronavirus epidemic.

As a reminder, Covid-19 has been particularly widespread in Marseille and in the Bouches-du-Rhône in recent weeks.

This twenty-kilometer race usually brings together thousands of runners who walk from Marseille to Cassis.
