These are the two Brazilians in the Bordeaux squad, Otavio and Pablo.

The facts occurred on the night of July 26 to 27 in the upscale Caudéran district of Bordeaux.

The thief (s) broke into the property of the midfielder, who was hosting his compatriot and defender on the move this summer.

The two men as well as their companions and children heard absolutely nothing.

“We discovered the house returned when we woke up,” explains one of the two players at

we were stolen a lot, a lot of things… Jewelry, branded bags, clothes, papers, whole suitcases since there was a move in progress and even a car ”.

This car will finally be found a few hours later.

In all, the damage is estimated at more than 150,000 euros.

The house was not yet equipped with an alarm or a video surveillance system.

"It is very shocking at the time, especially for our families, but it is perhaps a good thing that we did not hear anything because otherwise we do not know what can happen with this kind of people .

Now I'm very careful, ”adds the player.

The two Brazilians filed a complaint with the Bordeaux police station with the help of the club's lawyers.

The property crime repression brigade (BRAB) was seized for “burglary and home-jacking”.

So far, there has been no arrest.

The club headquarters also "visited"

A week later, this time it is the castle of Haillan which was "visited" by one or more criminals according to our information.

There too in the middle of the night.

So is it the same person or the same team?

For the moment, impossible to say.

On the Girondins side, the club is following the case very closely.

He provided support to the players in question and reinforced his security system, in particular with an agent seconded to two Brazilians in the days following the burglary.

A police prevention team has also intervened in recent weeks with the players to make them aware of the subject and remind them of the precautions to be taken.
