Marseille goalkeeper of the France team Steve Mandanda has tested positive for Covid-19 and will therefore not participate in the next two matches in the League of Nations.

On Wednesday, the entire French delegation had undergone a virological test, known as PCR, in Clairefontaine.

As stipulated by UEFA regulations, the entire French delegation underwent a virological test, said PCR, early Wednesday afternoon in Clairefontaine, with a view to its trip to Sweden for the meeting of League of Nations, Saturday at 8:45 p.m. in Solna.

Mandanda is leaving the group

Dr Franck Le Gall, doctor of the France team, learned of the results of all these tests on Thursday.

That of Steve Mandanda being positive for Covid-19, the goalkeeper carried out a second PCR test during the day.

This new test was also positive.

Steve Mandanda will therefore not be able to participate in the match in Sweden and will leave the squad on Friday morning.
