Bayern Munich player infected with Corona virus
The reserve team of the German football club Bayern Munich has registered a case of the new Corona virus, so the friendly match against Red Bull Salzburg of Austria, scheduled for Friday, is canceled.
The third-division reserve team stated today, Thursday, that the player, whose identity has not been revealed, will remain in medical isolation for 14 days, while the rest of the players will train individually until a new round of Corona detection tests is conducted.
The second team of Bayern Munich, which consists of youth under 23 years, is completely separate from the first team.
The reserve team won the third division title last season, but according to the regulations, Bayern is not entitled to participate with two teams in the first and second divisions, and therefore the reserve team remained in the third division.
