The Professional League confirmed on its official Twitter account that the launch of the new sports season 2020-2021 has been postponed until next October.
The association confirmed that "this decision came after consultation and coordination with the competent authorities in the country. The new dates will be announced later."
It is noteworthy that the season would have kicked off tomorrow with the Arabian Gulf Cup matches, between Shabab Al-Ahly and Al Dhafra, Kalba against Al Jazeera, and Fujairah with Ajman, with three other matches to be held next Friday.
