Marcus Rashford has put together a working group, consisting of several food giants, so that children in economically disadvantaged families do not have to be hungry.

- I sometimes feel that people think that you look down on them, if they ask for help.

"I think this is something that should be changed," he told the BBC.

The aim is to get the government to finance an initiative to achieve three goals from the British food strategy, which includes extended free school meals and extended holiday meals.

The United star received a lot of attention at the beginning of the summer, when he got the British government to change his decision regarding free meals for school children during the summer.

- I knew that it was only a temporary solution (to extend free meals during the summer holidays), which would not work in the long run.

So we needed to find a way to do that in the long run, so these families can eat without having to have any problems, he says.
