An additional corona 19 confirmed person came out from the professional baseball Hanwha Eagles.

The KBO Secretariat, which is in charge of professional baseball, announced today (1st) that an additional player from Hanwha Training Army has been confirmed as Corona 19.

Yesterday, after pitcher Shin Jung-rak, who was in the Hanwha rehabilitation group, was the first professional sports player to be confirmed with Corona 19, the second positive tester came out only in the Hanwha club.

The KBO secretariat said that it received a report from the Hanwha club that one of the players who had been diagnosed with Corona 19 had received an additional confirmation.

This player has been on standby at the hostel since the inspection, and the Hanwha team is self-checking the details of contact and infection route.

As of 9 p.m. today, two of the 97 candidates for the Hanwha 2nd Army's squad have been tested positive.

45 received negative results, 50 awaiting results.

All Squads are on standby at the accommodation.

Depending on the test result, the number of confirmed cases may increase further.

The confirmed person must be treated at a hospital, and even if it is negative, they must self-isolate for a certain period of time.

It is known that the Hanwha club will discuss the period of self-isolation of negative judges with the quarantine authorities.

If the majority of players enter self-isolation, the Hanwha club may not be able to play in the second team for the time being.

Hanwha’s second group remaining matches are 21.

The KBO Secretariat will follow the decision of the quarantine authorities and initiate further procedures.
