On the horse Zernard, Louise Etzner Jakobsson took two bronze medals in the Paralympics 2016. In Tokyo this summer, it was intended to be their last championship together.

But when the Paralympics were moved forward one year, the owner thought the horse was too old - and she has been without a horse for a year before the Paralympics next summer.

But now Etzner Jakobsson has found a new horse in nine-year-old Goldstrike BJ It after her friend Sofia Ridderstad bought the horse and registered Louise Etzner Jakobsson as owner.

Sofia knew exactly how much the horses and riding meant to me.

And she wanted to help me invest further, so she said "I'm buying you a horse".

So I'll never have to get rid of him.

Imagine that there are people who do such a thing for someone else, says Louise Etzner Jakobsson to the Swedish Equestrian Federation.

Need to qualify

The crew also needs to qualify together to be relevant for the Paralympics in Tokyo 2021.

- There are international competitions planned at Blue Hors in Denmark week eight, so then I want to have Goldie.

Otherwise, it is quite difficult to plan right now because we do not know what the season will look like.

- It feels so fun and inspiring with this horse.
