Corona mode stops HIF's Martin Olsson in the national team

During the day, Helsingborg won against Djurgården 3-1 despite four players in the A-team being ill in covid-19. HIF, where even six junior players are infected, tried in vain to get the match postponed without success. Olsson played the whole match.

- It is a big difference to play a match in the Allsvenskan outdoors for two hours compared to being in a "national team bubble" for ten days, says national team doctor Anders Valentin.

At present, no replacement will be called in.

Sweden meets the reigning world champion France on Friends on 5 September and the reigning European champion Portugal with Cristiano Ronaldo at the helm on 8 September.
