After a weak first half, Varberg got off to a really good start in the second. When Sirius' Tim Björkström fitted incorrectly on his own half of the field, Varberg turned around in a flash.

Astrit Selmani found Gustaf Norlin who scored 1-0 for the home team in the 67th minute. Four minutes later it slammed again.

Nice combination game signed by Junes Barny and Robin Book gave the former a great opportunity to expand Varberg's lead. The shot was saved by Sirius goalkeeper Lukas Jonsson but on the return, which bounced straight out, Selmani was able to nod in 2-0.

- We're just letting go. We should not think so much and not think that there are a lot of teams that are better than us. The team that works hard wins, Selmani tells Dplay.

Dissatisfied with the defense

Sirius coach Henrik Rydström was especially dissatisfied with the defensive game.

- Many of my players have been praised lately but obviously we are not there that we can take it and still do well. We play so terribly badly in the individual defense, says Rydström.

The first half definitely belonged to Sirius. In the beginning of the match, a nice combination play in the middle for an open area on the right edge and a nice post against Stefano Vecchia in front of goal. Vecchia was hit by the ball but was then blown off for offside.

A few minutes later, Vecchia took care of a free kick in a great position, just meters outside the penalty area. But the midfielder thundered the ball high, high over.

In the second half, Sirius recovered. Varberg grabbed the match and got three points.
