[Explanation] In recent years, with the strong support of the state, the development momentum of the e-sports industry has become increasingly fierce. The TGA E-sports Games was founded in 2010 in order to further develop E-sports City Plan 2.0, build a comprehensive e-sports event with provincial teams as the unit, and vigorously develop e-sports cities.
As a closely watched offline event that integrates multiple e-sports events, the 2020 TGA Tencent e-sports games will be held in Jing'an, Shanghai on August 27th. It includes the provincial team league of legends and the glory of the king. Event tournaments, as well as the TDT and Mahjong tournaments (TMT) two national events, a number of unique e-sports events will "relay" on the field.
It is worth mentioning that this is also the first time that the TGA event has upgraded the provincial team model. It can be called the "National Games" in the e-sports industry and has attracted the attention of the industry. Through in-depth cooperation with twelve provincial e-sports associations across the country, the event will link up the regional cultural brands of the provinces, organically integrate e-sports and traditional sports, and further upgrade at the level of sports and urbanization.
