Corona virus threatens the summit of Al-Ahly of Egypt and the Moroccan Wydad ... "The number of infected people has risen to 14"!

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is considering postponing the Arab summit between Al-Ahly of Egypt and Moroccan Wydad Casablanca in the first leg of the semi-final round of the African Champions League for football scheduled for next September 25, in light of the increase in Corona cases among players and members of the technical and administrative apparatus of Wydad to 14 cases.

"We are discussing the situation of Wydad in order to make the correct decision for the match, as we are closely monitoring the situation and if the conditions remain as they are, we will postpone the match in order to ensure the safety of the two teams," the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan said on Friday, quoting a member of the African Union Competitions Committee.

And Moroccan press reports had stated during the past hours that Wydad would submit a request to postpone the two semi-final matches of Al-Ahly Club to next November, due to the many infections it suffered as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus among its ranks.

The Moroccan site "Sport 360" said: "The number of new cases of Corona has increased to 14 cases among players and members of the technical staff, after it was 11 cases during the past few days, which led to the postponement of a number of matches at the local level, including the derby match against Raja, which was Scheduled for last Wednesday.
