- I drove with Calle Halfvarsson for three laps before he got an inner ski and fell, says the winner Leo Johansson, who started as number three, to SVT Sport after the seven laps.

After 6.9 km, Halfvarsson led by twelve seconds ahead of Johan Häggström. At the next intermediate time after 10.5 km, Halfvarsson had lost 1.28 on the then leading Häggström.

Johansson was there first in sixth place, 21 seconds behind Halfvarsson.

- There is no danger, he fell into a curve and got like a thigh cake. No problem. He can probably drive tomorrow and he was in good shape, says national team manager Anders Byström to Aftonbladet about Halfvarsson's injury.

Three first in a second

The race was won by the sensation and hidden ice Leo Johansson, Falun-Borlänge but originally from Skillingaryd in Småland, who had to wait nervously at the finish before he could breathe a sigh of relief after strong attacks from William Poromaa and Oskar Svensson. The first three were collected within 0.8 seconds.

- Next time it may be my turn and I get a little upset, says Poromaa.

The race was run over 15 km classic style on roller skis with individual start on a hilly course around the big falls in Trollhättan.
