New contaminations which do not generate "worry" according to the LOU. The Lyon rugby club announced on Wednesday in a press release the detection of new positive cases for Covid-19 and indicated that its friendly match, scheduled for Saturday in Clermont-Ferrand (with authorized public), was canceled.

Monday LOU Rugby announced that "a member of the team had been declared positive for Covid-19 after having felt some symptoms the day after the Lyon-Racing 92 match", played Friday in Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère). The LOU had therefore canceled training and organized a new test on Monday for its entire workforce.

Positive players in early August

On August 1, the Lyon club, 2nd in the last Top 14, had already announced that three of its players, asymptomatic, had been declared positive and placed in fourteen. For their part, the Clermont leaders announced in a press release that they were looking for a new opponent for this preparatory meeting scheduled for Saturday at the Michelin stadium.
