After the Finnish government gave the go-ahead earlier today, the Finnish Athletics Federation announced tonight that Finnkampen will be decided next weekend.

- It's fun and something you hoped for. It is one of the competitions where there will be the best opposition this season with Kristian Pulli from Finland. It will definitely be fun, says Thobias Montler to SVT Sport.

How does it feel to be part of Finnkampen?

- It is always fun to be part of Finnkampen, and a special competition to be part of. Being part of a team we do not do too often so it is special.

Thobias Montler reckoned that Finnkampen would be decided without an audience. But the competition may be decided in front of an audience in front of 5,000 in the audience, believes the athletics association's general secretary Stefan Olsson.

- Okay, that was more than I knew. If they succeed, it's great.

How do you think it will go then?

- It is a given that Sweden wins (laughs).
