Anna Normann is a shooter in three different national teams. Military, Health and Paralympic Team.

That she says healthy and not ordinary is simply because everyone is ordinary but some are healthy, something she talked to the Paraförbundet about.

It took a number of years after she broke her foot during a military exercise in 2014 that she understood that she also had to compete as a parade athlete.

- I was classified in 2018 February, 2018, she says to SVT Sport.

"Do not fall head over heels"

What makes athletes classified as parade athletes is a scale where they get different points for different injuries they have that prevent them in different ways.

As Anna lacks mobility in her right foot, she passes the number of points required. The injury also requires Anna to jump on crutches always, all the time.

But both in her life as an officer and as a shooter, it is not always practical. In January, she fell and also broke her other foot. Something that could have jeopardized a start in the Paralympics 2020.

- You just "Anna then, klantarsle, do not fall". But I'm pretty bullshit and trained quite hard anyway and it worked pretty well but when it was postponed to next summer I can not say that it did not feel quite nice.

Has the world record

Since she competes for the healthy national team, there is also a chance to qualify for the healthy Olympics next year, even though it is currently unclear what the qualifiers look like. To be able to do both is something that Anna would think was fun.

- I do not know if it is realistic but it would have been fun, it would have been a lot of fun, she laughs.

But first and foremost, it's the Paralympics that matter. Where she will compete in her parade branch 3x40 shots at 50 meters. A branch where her opponent can fit.

- I will not stick out my chin too much but I have the world record of 50 meters so I am pretty good.

Medal?

- I will do everything I can to take the medal, but I can not focus on the medal I have to focus on doing the right thing then the medal will come, Anna Normann concludes.
