Despite the fact that the first half offered very little going forward, it was 1-1 at half time. 0-1 to Mjällby after 25 minutes was a real "Kalmar goal". It was a long throw from Moses Ogbu who was nodded in by Eric Björkander.

Kalmar's equalizer to 1-1 in the 38th minute was also the fruit of a solid situation. Isak Magnusson met a return after a corner and jumped the ball rib-in.

Looked to be a draw

The second half continued as the first. Two teams that tried and tried but still failed to come up with something of value. A couple of half-chances were the only thing offered. After an hour, a long Kalmar throw reached Fidan Aliti who nodded just outside, and Mjällby's Moses Ogbui had a good chance after just over 70 minutes.

Otherwise it was a position war and the longer the match lasted the more sloppy the game became. There was not much to suggest that any of the teams would be able to decide. But that did not happen

Three fast

In the 83rd minute, a free kick from Mjällby's David Batanero took the back of a Kalmar player in to make it 2-1. Four minutes later, Viktor Gustafson scored 3-1, also after a Batanero free kick.

Mjällby's goal explosion ended in the 92nd minute when Moses Ogbu discovered that Kalmar's Tobias Andersson was a bit outside the goal. He lobbed over to the final score 4-1.
