The format for long jump competitions in the Diamond League has been changed. First all five rounds jump, then the top three get to jump one last time.
A layout Thobias Montler does not like.
At the DL gala in Stockholm today, Montler had the two longest jumps of 8.13. But when it was time for the last jump, he lost.
"Think too much"Montler jumped 8.06 in his last jump, while South African Rushwahl Samaai reached 8.09 and won.
